They make use of your home’s existing rafters to support the solar panels, offering a space-saving solution—especially important if yard space is limited and a ground-mounted system isn’t an option.

To install a roof mount, you’ll need to accurately locate the rafters beneath your roof. If the rafters aren’t exposed at the roof’s edge, you can find them using a stud finder or by measuring from inside the attic. Once identified, holes are drilled into the rafters to securely attach flashings and mounts.

If your roof faces south, west, or east and has sufficient space, a roof-mounted system is typically the most convenient and cost-effective way to go solar.

Our product line includes all the fundamental components for solar power installation systems—from profiles and studs to hooks, screws, and high-quality fasteners.
